Our Story
I started thinking of founding “A Passionate Teacher” during the first 2 years of Pandemic (2020-2021) wherein we didn’t expect that the Department of Education announced that there will be a sudden change in the “Learning Setups” – a shift from “Face to face classes” to full “Online Classes”. That is one major concern/s of my Parents from my Advisory Class, that is related to the events in the field of Education.
Because of this, they were shocked and said “Teacher Sam, Hindi namin alam ang gagawin namin” (In other words, they said that they don’t know what to do with these changes, to the point that they were clueless). What I did is, I talk to them virtually thru video calls after my classes, so that they would be given a chance to express and communicate their own challenges as well as with their childrens’ (my students) struggles. After our conversations through the years, I take note all of it.
Finally this 2023, they expressed that they are back to their normal lives, monitoring their children for the “Hybrid / Blended Learning Setup”, a combination of Face to face and Online Classes. Up to this point, I still receive messages from my Parents, expressing their gratitude, for being with them with their wins and in tough times.

Hi there! I am Samantha Siapno, a Special Education Teacher by profession. I have 5 years of experience in teaching students with Special needs in a Private School within the Philippines and I also do some student tutorials on the side.
I help Parents of students studying in Philippine Private Schools, from the Regular and SPED Classes, about dealing with the situations or challenges, that their children face in their studies / education. This is in order for them to find ways on how they can help or monitor their children better.
